The Crossing
Jordi L. Vidal is a director and choreographer who has created over 40 original works, touring internationally across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. His creations explore universal themes through a distinctive language that blends movement with circus, puppetry, clowning and urban culture, for both indoor and outdoor contexts. With more than 600 performances, his work has been presented at renowned festivals and venues worldwide.
His multidisciplinary approach extends to collaborations with chamber music, video and visual arts, as well as site-specific and tailor-made pieces. His work has received international recognition and awards.
Dance, physical theatre and object manipulation workshop with final public presentation
In a poetic and visual way, this project's topic is our relationship with plastic and the problem of pollution in our oceans.
This inclusive project is intended for any adult without age limit (amateurs, professionals, students in performing arts, etc.) who wishes to explore their creativity with movement.
Together with this group (minimum 6 and maximum 20), Jordi carries out a work of transmission of the research based on his piece La Traverséein the form of a workshop and with the objective of crystallising a performance with the participants. This piece will be played by them, in the form of a final public presentation during InArt festival.
