InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival is an initiative of Vo'Arte and a reference in contemporary transdisciplinary artistic creation, with emphasis on the convergence of language between body and image, based on technology.

InShadow explores interdisciplinary atmospheres through aesthetic solutions and technical representation of body on screen, on stage and in other platforms. Genres and languages intersect in videos, shows and performances, installations and exhibitions.

The programme includes a videodance, documentary and animation competition, performances, a section for children and young people, LittleShadow, a strong training component with workshops and masterclasses for various audiences, as well as installations and exhibitions that expand the Festival throughout the city.

InShadow promotes contemporary creation and prints new intersections and perspectives on the city of Lisbon in dialogue with the world. It reflects on the vitality of a dialogue created by bringing together the experience of established artists and the visions of emerging creators.
