Time Trilogy

A dance performance with a narrative that is sometimes fluid, sometimes fragmented, in which human worlds with different ways of being and existing come together, and a space of equality is achieved.

This work by CIM (multidisciplinary integrated company) aims to be a stopping point in the modelling and staging that society produces around citizens with special needs, a constant search for saturated humanism. On stage, thirteen performers create a space of challenge, of questioning, a space that instigates a re-evaluation of who I am and who the Other is. The stage is transformed into an arena of gazes.

A show that takes the theme of time, chronological time and inner time, and explores it by crossing languages, weaving a piece in which the senses and emotions lead us to a constant rebalancing.

The artistic coordination of this show is the responsibility of Ana Rita Barata, Natália Luíza, João Gil and Pedro Sena Nunes.

TIME TRILOGY

The language of contemporary dance intersects with video, drawing, poetry and sound. The strong transdisciplinary aspect opens up unprecedented paths in "Time" - a theme on which CiM has developed a trilogy - which explores the relationship with the other, as an individual who lives the time imposed on them by the speed of the contemporary world. The Time trilogy stands out by the integration of the work of different bodies, questioning the objectivity of the gaze to challenge the perception of the artistic and emotional encounters launched on stage, which undoubtedly transform everyone who participates in these shows.
