Suspended Landscapes ↝ Fado Museum

The film Suspended Landscapes, by Pedro Sena Nunes, returns to the screens on the 3rd of October at 7 pm at the Fado Museum in Lisbon.

This session features the musicians Paulo Cachinho and Joaquim Ferreira, who will perform in dialogue with the film to mark the centenary of the birth of the composer and guitarist Carlos Paredes.

Premiered in March of this year, at the Ronca – Elvas Film Festival, upon invitation from Luís Graça, the film is being screened as part of a partnership between Associação 7350, Associação Vo’Arte and the Fado Museum.

Suspended Landscapes it is an experimental work built from archive material and excerpts from the director’s films, with no sound, designed to be accompanied by live music. In addition to his admiration for Carlos Paredes, Pedro Sena Nunes was invited to make the tribute film Floating Daydreams, among others, also featuring the composer and guitarist with his muse, for Expo ’98.

The exhibition is part of a special programme paying tribute to the influence and legacy of Carlos Paredes, offering an immersive sensory experience in which nature, memory and time intertwine in a visual universe suspended between the past and the future.
