Since 2004, Vo’Arte and ETIC – Education & Inspiration for Creatives have been developing an ongoing partnership, characterized by collaboration on various projects and initiatives related to contemporary artistic creation.
This partnership has recently gained renewed visibility with the celebration of Vo’Arte’s 28th anniversary and the launch of the organization’s new website, events hosted by ETIC at Espaço Atmosferas.
This partnership has also been evident at the InShadow – Lisbon Screendance Festival for over a decade, through the organization of masterclasses, workshops and performances at ETIC’s venues, the annual participation of a student on the Universities Jury, and the presentation of the ETIC Award.
At the 18th edition of the festival, the ETIC Award – Training Grant for the Best Portuguese Film, as selected by the Universities Jury, will once again be presented. The grant, worth up to €2,500, may be used to attend an annual, half-yearly or specialization course from ETIC’s range of training programmes, covering areas such as film, animation, music, photography and design, amongst others, subject to availability.
This initiative strengthens the link between ETIC and the InShadow/Vo’Arte festival, promoting specialist training and supporting the development of new avenues in contemporary artistic creation.
