Last Saturday, 6 June, we had a full house for an evening of film and dance, the result of a partnership marked by creativity and an inclusive collaborative effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session opened with the screening of three dance films: RAW <\/em>by Hares Pascoal (PT), Noppera-bo <\/em>by William Yong (CA), and Elsewhere <\/em>by Alexa Velez (USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the films, CERCIAMA and CiM-Companhia de Dan\u00e7a presented the performance Olhos Bem Abertos<\/em>, the result of the entities\u2019 ongoing training programme. Choreographed by Armando Lu\u00eds and Carolina Duarte, the piece is about a body on high alert, torn between fear and the desire to move forward. Afterwards, we spoke with the performers and Hares Pascoal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were also joined by Ana Br\u00e1s, director of CERCIAMA, and V\u00edtor Ferreira, Mayor of Amadora; this marked a significant milestone for the InArt Festival as it ventured into a new venue, the Recreios da Amadora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
