On the 20th January, at 7pm, Pedro Sena Nunes' documentary A Morte do Cinema will be screened at the Cinemateca Portuguesa. The screening is part of the cycle ‘Uma Cinemateca em Chamas – História de Projeção e Projecionistas’, dedicated to projection spaces, projectionists and equipment.

On the 3rd of November, CiM brings Uma Outra Forma (Another Way) to Vila Franca de Xira. It follows the adventure of two friends who discover that you can see with your hands, your elbows, your legs, your heart... They show us that it is possible to see everything - you just have to do it in another way. In this show, issues of blindness are simplified and the possibilities of Braille are explored.

As part of the Portuguese film showcase Imagens no Tejo, the film Entrelinhas will be screened on 25th of October at 3pm in the Auditorium of the Junta de Freguesia de Vila Franca de Xira. Premiered in March, this is a visual and audio essay on the ephemeral relationship between archive, memory and viewer.
