Visible Movement is a laboratory of artistic creation and research that invites performers, artists and the curious - deaf and hearing, with or without experience in performing arts - to explore the expressive potential of the Portuguese Sign Language. Inspired by the methodology of Bilingual Theatre, it proposes to be a free space where, through practical dynamics and improvisation games, participants will unveil gestural, verbal and bodily techniques of interaction in the scenic/performative space. It also includes a moment of presentation of the results and an open conversation about its processes and findings.
