CiM - Dance Company continues on national tour with the performance O AQUI, with presentations in Viana do Castelo on January 19, in Castelo Branco on March 3 and in Funchal on December 7.

In February, the EU MAIOR performance will be restored in the Grande Auditorium of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, on the 20th at 3 pm. This performance is the result of the Geração SOMA project that worked for two years with more than 1200 children from Public Schools in Lisbon.

In April, Vo'Arte will participate in the "Arts for Inclusion" Seminar in Logroño (Spain), with seven other entities that develop projects and activities in the area of inclusion and access to arts, under the ERASMUS + Program of the European Commission.

2018 is the year of InArt - Community Arts Festival, in a format of exchange and hosting of experiences between young communities and seniors, companies and choreographers from Portugal, France, Germany, United Kingdom and USA.

It is also the year of European projects!

"Sign + Sound Theater" was one of the 66 small-scale European cooperation projects selected by the Creative Europe 2017 program.

A two-year project (2017-2019) with nine partners from Bulgaria, Croatia, the United Kingdom, Finland and Belgium, that responds to the EU priorities for an accessible and inclusive culture by transposing behavioral barriers, exploring new ways to produce inclusive art for an inclusive audience.

It aims to provide artists and spectators, with or without disabilities, the same artistic experience, through the use of Innovative Bilingual Theater (IBT) technique - Simultaneous interpretation in sign language.

Vo'Arte will organize several workshops and present the performance "Kukunor" (Guardians of Dreams) in Lisbon, in co-creation and produced by the 4 artistic directors.

In October 2018, Vo'Arte hosts the Anamesa Festival, a bi-annual transnational project in the field of Arts and Disability that aims to create relationships across borders.

Anamesa is an initiative of the French choreographer and artistic director of DK-Bel, Sophie Bulbulyan.
Vo'Arte will support the programming, dissemination and promotion of actions involving CiM - Companhia de Dança, French companies and the community of Lisbon.

The Formation is one of the fundamental axes of this year, through artistic residences, workshops in contemporary dance and choreographic research, masterclasses and intensive courses for a general and professional audience.

We want this axis to function as the engine of a network with multiple actors - school community, artists, teachers and institutions at local, municipal, national and international level - and a global educational project for arts and citizenship.

In November and December, InShadow - Lisbon ScreenDance Festival returns to Lisbon in its 10th edition and to the territory of contemporary creation, highlighting the convergence between body and image / sound through artistic creation processes based on technology.

Also the area of cinema, research, creation and film production with the films of Pedro Sena Nunes, awarded and in exhibition through international festivals, such as the International Art Biennial of Cerveira or the Festival Silêncio.

Vo'Arte assumes the vanguard of inclusion by Art. They are 20 years working in multidisciplinary projects that break the boundaries between generations, paradigms, aesthetics, competences and capacities.

Distinguished in 2014 and 2015 with the Inclusion and the Intellectual Accessibility Award, and considered among the 10 European entities with the best artistic inclusive practices (within the Un-Label project), Vo'Arte and CiM have developed a meritorious work approaching communities to the creative process and artistic environment, creating a space of sharing and innovation.

The distinctions and continuous integration in European projects, networks and festivals in the past years have given Vo'Arte a strong background and a privileged place in the areas where it develops its work, allowing to gain more visibility and a greater reach of audiences.
