Still practicing, Stillness [an intergenerational dance project]
Adam Benjamin (UK)
Performance | 50' (world premiere)
19 FEV . 21h | Sala Luis Miguel Cintra | Teatro São Luiz

This project is a cross-generational, inclusive dance project working with disabled and non-disabled adults and children. The work will involve live music and involved performers (dancers and musicians) from both Portugal and the UK.

The work will draw on choreographic and improvisatory structures and open up spaces that encourage deep listening both from performers and audience. The work will celebrate differences - both in age; with the youngest performers being 9 years old, the oldest in their 60s, and in physicalities with disabled performers working alongside professionally trained dancers.
